Hello from Dusseldorf, Germany!
2022-10-22

During his first overseas visit since the COVID-19 outbreak, our Chairman and CEO Zhang Bo visited the municipal government of Dusseldorf and the Chinese Consulate General in the city, where Hongqiao’s German branch locates, and meet with city officials.

During his meeting with city representatives, Zhang thanked the local authorities for their help on the establishment of the company’s German branch, and reinforced the branch’s commitment to further collaborate with German schools, institutions and companies in the fields of scientific and technological innovation and new energy development.

Zhang was welcomed by Josef Hinkel, first mayor of Dusseldorf, who expressed appreciation to the Group’s commitment to the city and reaffirmed cooperation between the two sides.

The Group will continue its globalizing path with its German branch at the core, Zhang said while visiting the Chinese Consulate General in Dusseldorf and exchanging thoughts with Consul General Du Chunguo.

The Consulate General will continue to play the role as a bridge to promote the development of Chinese companies in Germany, said Du.

There is a great potential for cooperation between China and North Rhine–Westphalia Land in the fields of new energy, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, digitalization and third-market cooperation, Du added.
