To celebrate Children’s Day (June 1^st in China), Hongqiao Group hosted a special event together with the “Rainbow House” in Yanshan Country, Yunnan Province.

Different activities and performances by the students took place during the celebratory day with special awards for best students and reading stars who will be invited to visit Shandong province as part of their award. But most importantly, it was a day filled with a lot of fun!

Hongqiao’s Vice President Ms. Yan led the event and read Disney classic Dumbo to the youngest students while congratulating and encouraging the 25 winners of “Reading Stars” of higher grades. Then she enjoyed the students performances while remembering her own years as a young student.

The " Rainbow House" project landed in Yanshan County, Yunnan at the end of 2019. So far, it has donated more than 20,000 books and more than 4,000 rainbow reading packs to local schools. It has invited education experts and children's book authors to give lectures and workshops to provide children with high quality educational resources.

Hongqiao Group will continue to promote and support local education, so that public welfare projects such as the " Rainbow House" will benefit more regions and communities.
