A delegation from our Lightweight Base traveled to Germany to take part in GIFA, the largest and most influential international foundry exhibition in the world. During their, the delegation also had the chance to meet and exchange ideas and common with counterpart enterprises and institutions s uch as Raffmetal, UAE Global Aluminum, Norsk Hydro, Rheinfelden Alloys, Gautschi and German Foundry Association.
We hope to strengthen R&D cooperation and talent training with foreign universities and research institutions in the future.
The delegation made emphasis on the importance of integration of the industry, education, and research, overcome industry challenges together, and lead the positive transformation of the aluminum industry to a low-carbon, environmentally friendly, green and sustainable direction.
The delegation also visited the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Automation (IPA) and the Baden-Württemberg Business Science Promotion Agency (BWI), which focuses on robotics, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.
