This year's Aluminum Week is hosted by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and co-organized by Aluminum Corporation of China, China Hongqiao Group, and Huayang New Material Technology Group.

The four-day conference will include activities such as "Aluminum Accessories Market Symposium", "China International Aluminum Conference", and "Pan Pacific Aluminum Summit Forum".

The China Aluminum Week 2021 aims at building a long-term cooperation platform for resources, production, application, and trade for the global aluminum industry.

Our chairman and CEO made a keynote speech on the opening day about ``Maintaining the Healthy Ecology of the Industry and Promoting Common Prosperity for All''.

In his speech, Zhang Bo shared his views on building a healthy industry environment, achieving the carbon peak and neutrality targets and fulfilling a company’s social responsibility.

Mr. Zhang Bo made strong emphasis on improving the level of resource utilization, strengthening production management efficiency, optimizing the energy structure, and develop renewables industry to maintain a good ecology of the industrial chain.

He also pointed out that the primary aluminum industry should actively take practical actions to optimize the energy structure, increasing the proportion of clean and new energy, promoting green and low-carbon transformation, while maximizing the recycling and re-utilization of aluminum.

In his final remarks, Hongqiao’s CEO highlighted the improvements in technology and management our company has been and is currently undertaking in our path of low-carbon green development.
